Decisions are signed and dated.
Every meaningful decision in the studio has a name and a timestamp attached. Internal changelog, not a deck. The trail is the governance.

Operators ship, hold, and retire what they ship.
Whoever shipped a house operates that house. Not the next person. The same hand carries it from zero to retirement.

Six months of conversation before a number changes hands.
Hiring is slow on purpose. Partnerships are slower. The studio compounds with people who would still be here in ten years.

A house that doesn’t pay for itself doesn’t stay open.
Each house carries its own P&L. The studio doesn’t cross-subsidise houses that lost their reason. Honesty over politeness.

Money is fuel. Not the product.
Revenue funds the next house. It doesn’t become the thing we optimise. We never trade product quality for short-term margin.

The brand is what passes the door, not what’s written on it.
Culture is the work we accept and the work we walk away from. Both go on record. The brand is the residue of those refusals.

Same hand across every house.
Same brand bar. Same production bar. Same engineering rigour. The infrastructure is the spine; the brand is the consistency the spine carries.

Does it move a house forward?
Every decision must serve a house, or the studio that holds the houses. Initiatives that don’t map to a house die in the framework, not in the meeting.

Can we sign it?
If the studio’s name on the work would make us hesitate, the work doesn’t leave. The signature filter is the last gate.

Will it still make sense in five years?
Short-term wins that contradict the long arc don’t pass. Decisions are written for the studio’s readers in 2031, not for the room in 2026.
